Even though the emotional and mental wellbeing benefits are rarely talked about, they're actually quite important. A sweating session is a private, personal time of relaxation and solitude.



People have used sweat rituals around the world for thousands of years to garner greater physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Sweat practices continue to re-emerge in different forms. The activity gives the participant an intense physical and psychological experience. The power of this experience can continue to be harnessed for a multitude of purposes. Sweating has been used widely to promote spirituality and aid in meditation. 

The body holds on to fear and tension that are often related to thoughts we are having. By shifting our focus, our body is no longer needing to store those tensions. The process of sweating acts symbolically and literally as a mean to release the fears and negativity stored in the cells.
